The Artist, the Website and the slightly lost plot!

There's a certain irony in being an artist who can spend an extraordinary amount of time getting the tiniest detail right, yet has spent years presiding over a website that was, shall we say, a little less carefully composed.
In my defence, I built it myself.
Unfortunately, this also meant that whenever something needed changing, I was the person responsible for changing it. And when that change created three entirely new problems, I was also the person responsible for those.
Over the years, pages were added, pictures shuffled about, buttons appeared in mysterious places and the whole thing gradually evolved into something resembling a particularly ambitious game of hide-and-seek.
I knew where everything was. Mostly.
Whether anyone else did was another matter entirely.
So, I've finally given it a proper overhaul and even attempted SEO - a Seriously Exasperating Ordeal!
I've had a ruthless clear-out, rearranged the furniture, swept away the cobwebs and hopefully made the whole experience considerably more civilised.
My wildlife artwork now has room to breathe, the portfolio is much easier to explore, and I've completely reorganised the shop so you can browse my fine art prints without needing a map, compass or emergency provisions!
I've also brought the stories behind the artwork and the conservation projects close to my heart into clearer focus.
And 10% of profits from my artwork continue to support wildlife conservation.
I'm rather pleased with how it's turned out. Although, given that I'm also the person who created the previous version, you may wish to reserve judgement!
There's still a little tinkering to do (isn't there always?), and plenty more artwork to come, but I'd genuinely love you to have a look.
Have a wander around, explore the artwork, browse the prints and let me know what you think.
And if you find yourself trapped in a mysterious corner of the website with no obvious way out, please do tell me.
I thought I'd found all of those.
With massive thanks
Charlotte
