Commissioning Artwork

A commissioned artwork is a very personal way to capture an animal's character, whether it's a much-loved pet, a favourite wildlife subject or a special encounter in the wild.

Every commission is individually considered, with the composition, size and medium discussed to create something unique.

Pricing

As a general guide, a large A1 wildlife artwork in coloured pencil or oils would typically cost approximately £3,000–£5,000, depending on the subject, composition and complexity.

Smaller artworks and pet portraits are priced individually, with prices generally starting from approximately £1,000.

These prices are intended as a guide rather than a fixed price list. I am always happy to discuss your ideas and provide a no-obligation quotation.

Availability

I accept commissions selectively, depending on the nature of the artwork and my availability.

Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and whether I am able to undertake your proposed piece.

The Commissioning Process

Once we have agreed on the subject, composition, size, medium, price and anticipated timescale, I will provide written confirmation of the commission details and terms.

A 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance payable upon completion.

I will keep you informed of progress and share photographs of the artwork at appropriate stages.

Once completed and the final balance has been received, the artwork can be carefully packaged and ship
